Tibbie Shiels Inn offers a range of facilities for events in a private and picturesque location. From camping, to an authentic 19th century bar, a commercial kitchen, ensuite rooms, camping for up to 100, access to the loch for swimming, watersports and fishing, an indoor function room and a static caravan.

You can hire Tibbie Shiels for your dream wedding or special occasion. Wedding ceremonies have been held in the function room, on the jetty or even along the loch in March Wood. You are welcome to make your own arrangements or we can help with sourcing local suppliers for anything we can't do ourselves.
music and sports
We love hosting music events. We also host rallies for classic cars, motorbikes & agricultural vehicles or we can be the final port of call for a long distance riding, hiking or even wild swimming, kayaking or windsurfing on the loch.
literary & arts
We welcome artists who would like to spend the day seeking inspiration from the stunning surrounding countryside. We also hire our facilities for literary events whether it be for a book launch, group visit, academic conference or even a community reading group. Catering can be arranged and we can accept coaches.
